Cruise Packing List
When you arrive at the cruise terminal, you will hand your larger bags over to a porter, and they will be delivered to your cabin later on embarkation day. So it is important to pack necessary items in your carry-on.
CARRY-ON SUGGESTIONS
- Passport, Original Birth Certificate and all necessary Travel documents. It is imperative that you bring an original birth certificate with raised seal. If you have a name change due to marriage, you should also bring an original marriage license.
- Travel document folder
- All Prescription Medications
- Sunscreen safe for coral reef and other Caribbean waters
- Swimsuit
- Flip Flops
- Swim Cover-Up
- Motion Sickness medicine, patches or wristband. I recommend Seaband Anti-Nausea Wristbands for non-medicine option for all ages.
- Phone chargers
- Hat
- Sunglasses
- Portable Cell Phone Battery Pack
- Beach Bag
- Headphones
- Extra Outfit
- Refillable Waterbottle
- On embarkation day, each guest of drinking age may bring one (1) sealed 750 ml bottle of wine or champagne. Boxed wine and other containers are prohibited. (Do not put in checked baggage.)
- Advil, Melatonin, LiquidIV, Vitamins, Magnesium Glycinate
- Anything you will need immediately - just in case you can't get in your room right away
Checked Bags Suggestions
- Dinner outfits - There should be a formal dining night. This is only in the main dining room and can be as dressy as you like. Some will wear suites and some will wear tuxedos - up to you!
- Resort Wear
- Guests may also bring non-alcoholic beverages as carry-on items on boarding day. Non-alcoholic beverages may not exceed 12 standard (17 oz.) cans, bottles or cartons per stateroom. Milk and distilled water brought on for infant, medical, or dietary use are permitted.
- Copy of passport
- Copy of credit card
- Razor and Shaving Cream
- White Noise Maker
When it comes to toiletries, the cruise line only provides soap and shampoo; many people prefer to bring their own. Here are some of the main things to consider bringing:
- Shampoo and conditioner, and other hair products.
- Skin care products
- Makeup
- Eye care – glass cleaners and contact solution
- Dental – toothbrush and toothpaste (and floss for the 1% that actually do as their dentist tells them)
- Curling / flat irons (cabins have blow dryers)
- Shaving products
- Brush, comb, elastics/ hair accessories
- Deodorant
- Nail products
- Shoe rack to help with organization
- Sewing kit
Other items to consider:
- A night light, as cabins can be dark
- Hangers for closet
- Magnetic Hooks - Most of your room is made of metal so these will come in handy to hang wet bathing suits and towels, etc.
- Air freshener for bathroom
- Reading material – some people love reading on a kindle or their tablet, but for those that don't remember to bring a book or magazine.
- Flashlight
- Straws
- Towel clips to keep your towel from blowing away
- Fan, but must be cordless (can plug into USB)
- Multi-outlet USB Charger (non-surge)
- Ziploc bags
- Water bottle
- Wrinkle release spray
- Watch
